Capt. Brad Brown has been participating in the Maverick Boats Flatsmasters Series since 2005. He and his team have always exemplified professionalism and class in every event no matter where they are on the leader board for the day.

            In 2006, Brad qualified to fish The Maverick Boats Flatsmasters Championship by finishing 13th in points out of over 100 teams.  Brad then advanced to the final day of competition where he was eventually awarded the title of 2006 Flatsmasters Champions.  In 2007, Brad and his team qualified 21st out of 125 teams to compete in his second straight Flatsmasters Championship.  Brad is currently ranked 8th in the Flatsmasters Power-Pole Power Rankings, which is the gross weight weighed over the past eight Flatsmasters Events.

            Brad Brown has been seen many times on the Flatsmasters TV Show, including being one of five featured boats on the 2006 Flatsmasters Championship Show.  The Flatsmasters TV Show is available on The SunSports TV Network in Florida and across the nation on satellite. The Flatsmasters produces 6 shows a year, airing over 50 times.  

            The Maverick Boats Flatsmasters Series is the largest backcountry, inshore tournament series in Florida with over 1500 anglers participating in the 5 event tour.

The Flatsmasters was created in 2001 by Classic Tournaments, Inc. of Punta Gorda, Florida.
